Dilapidations
When we get to the end of the lease on our buildings the Landlord will require dilapidations to be carried out. This will mean returning the building to the condition it was in on the day you first took possession of it, probably many years ago. The Landlord may decide to carry out this work himself and ask you to agree a payment to be relieved of your obligation under the lease, or he may decide, or you may wish, to carry out these works yourself if you believe this will save you money.
Prestige is here to help you with this from agreeing a dilapidations survey with the Landlord’s advisors, to putting a realistic cost to this. We can then carry out the work involved to cover the dilapidations for the Landlord or the outgoing Tenant. This work can cover everything from stripping out unwanted partitioning, renewing carpets, reconfiguring electrical, data and lighting layout, and decoration. Prestige Interiors have all these resources to hand to smooth the requirements arising at the end of a lease.
