Project overview
Prestige Interiors was tasked with a full refurbishment of Essential Pharma’s 1st Floor Meeting Room and two office spaces to strengthen privacy, sound insulation, and overall design. The works included demolition, partitioning, ceiling improvements, flooring installation, electrical adjustments, and decorative upgrades. Our team managed the project with minimal disruption to daily operations while adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
Budget and timeframe

Scope of work
Space preparation and construction:
- Removal of existing glazed partition, doors, and suspended ceiling systems.
- Over cladding of three solid partition walls with 12.5mm and 15mm Soundbloc plasterboard, including flush filling for a smooth finish.
- Installation of 100mm Rockwool acoustic quilt to improve sound insulation.
- Extension of two existing partition walls to improve sound transfer control in the breakout and cupboard areas.
Partitioning and doors:
- Installation of four single-glazed 12mm acoustic panels (39dB rating) in the two office spaces.
- Application of manifestation film with two rows of 50mm squares and 600mm solid bands to meet Building Control regulations.
- Installation of three full-height 900mm glazed doors in aluminium frames, fitted with acoustic seals for 40dB sound reduction.
- Additional acoustic treatments, including ceiling void acoustic barriers and pads for sound management.
- Application of intumescent/acoustic mastic to seal joints.
Decorative enhancements:
- Making good and decorating partition walls and other areas as specified.
- Installation of 9mm acoustic wall panels across approximately 40sqm to further improve sound insulation.
Flooring and ceilings:
- Supply and installation of Desso Rock carpet tiles covering approximately 60sqm.
- Reinstallation and replacement of stained or damaged carpet tiles with salvaged tiles.
- Supply and installation of new mineral fibre ceiling tiles to match the existing aesthetic.
- Reconfiguration of suspended ceilings to create individually contained ceiling areas.
Electrical, lighting, and data:
- Isolation and reinstallation of light switches, power sockets, light fittings, and floor boxes.
- Removal of TVs, brackets, projectors, and associated cabling.
Furniture protection and cleaning:
- Installation of protection screens and safeguarding of existing furniture.
- Site clearance and thorough cleaning upon project completion.
