How we work around the school calendar

A school fit out has an immovable deadline: the first day of term. We build our programmes backwards from that date, concentrating works into holiday periods and sequencing every trade to hit time-critical milestones.

When Kingston Grammar School needed 2,000m² of open-plan office space transformed into a sixth form learning centre, we fast-tracked the project and had the new 20,000 sq ft facility open just 11 weeks after construction began — complete with new HVAC, electrical, fire and security systems.

  1. Feasibility study — we assess your existing or new site and establish what’s achievable within your budget and timescale.
  2. Design and 3D visualisation — you see the space before a single wall moves, so staff and governors can buy into the vision.
  3. Statutory consents — we handle planning and building regulations approvals on your behalf.
  4. Working drawings and specification — a complete package, integrating any specialist consultants and contractors.
  5. Construction — programmed around your calendar, with a single Prestige point of contact throughout.
  6. Furniture, finishes and handover — we select, supply and install furniture and finishes, then hand over a space ready for the first lesson.

All core team members are Enhanced DBS checked. As a NICEIC Approved Contractor, our electrical works are independently verified to the highest standard. CHAS, SafeContractor, and THSP accreditations underpin our site safety planning, and we hold both ICO Data Protection and Environment Agency Upper Tier Waste Carrier registration as standard.
